🎙️ Agent Guide
Live Copilot — Your real-time AI sales coach. It listens to your call, transcribes every word, detects objections and buying signals, and suggests your next best question — live, while you're talking.
📞 Starting a Call
- Set Up New Call — Click 📞 Set Up New Call in the left panel. A wizard walks you through: Prospect details, Call context & notes, Your offer, and Call setup (audio mode, coaching style, AI model).
- Audio Mode — Choose Setup A (Computer Call) if you're on Zoom/Teams/Meet in a browser or desktop app, or Setup B (Phone Call) if your call is on your mobile. See the Audio Setup tab for full instructions.
- Coaching Style — Pick how you want the AI to coach you: Direct (short, actionable tips), Consultative (detailed reasoning), or Socratic (question-based coaching).
- AI Model — CloseSignal Fast is recommended for most calls. Use CloseSignal Advanced for deeper, more nuanced coaching on complex deals.
- Launch Call — After the wizard, click Launch Call to load your setup and start the session.
🔴 During a Call
- Start Recording — Click the red record button. CloseSignal immediately begins transcribing and coaching.
- Speaker Pill — The floating panel shows who is currently speaking (Agent or Client). In Setup A (dual-stream), it switches automatically. In Setup B (phone), press A on your keyboard when you speak or C when the client speaks — or tap the pill buttons.
- AI Coaching Panel — After the client finishes speaking, CloseSignal generates a suggested next question. Read it, adapt it to your voice, and deliver it naturally.
- Objections & Buying Signals — Detected automatically from the transcript and flagged in real time.
- Deal Heat Score — A live deal probability indicator that tracks conversation momentum as you go.
- Active Frameworks — Select company playbooks from the dropdown in the left panel. Choose This Call for one-time use or Always On to keep them loaded across all calls.
✅ After a Call
- Stop & Save — Click Stop, then 💾 Save. The session syncs to the cloud automatically.
- EOD Report — Click 📊 EOD Report to generate an AI-written end-of-day summary across all your calls for any date.
- New Call — Click 📞 Set Up New Call again to reset the session for your next prospect. Always-On frameworks stay loaded.
- Demo Call — Available via the toolbar. Runs a simulated call so you can explore features without a live client.
🗺️ Other Sections
📖 Playbook — View company objection-handling rules and scripts. Admins can create and toggle rules; agents can view and apply them during calls.
🗂️ Call History — Browse all your past sessions. Expand any session to read the full transcript, AI summary, detected objections, buying signals, and follow-up email draft.
🎯 My Prospects — View and manage your prospect pipeline. Click Start Call on any card to instantly load that prospect into Live Copilot.
👤 My Profile
🔬 Voice ID — Record a 15–20 second voice sample. CloseSignal uses it to auto-detect whether you or your client is speaking in Setup B (phone calls), reducing the need to manually press A / C.
✍️ My Voice Style — Train CloseSignal to sound like you. Paste a writing sample (emails, scripts, proposals) or speak a 30–60 second sample. The AI extracts your tone, rhythm, energy, and signature phrases and injects them as a style layer into every coaching suggestion — so responses feel natural coming out of your mouth.
🛡️ Admin Guide
Dashboard — At-a-glance stats: total agents, sessions today, objections detected across your team.
Users — Invite agents and admins via email link. Set roles. View individual session history and activity. Click any agent row to open their full profile drawer.
Prospects — Add and manage your full pipeline. Assign prospects to specific agents. Use List view or Pipeline (Kanban) view. Agents see their assigned prospects in 🎯 My Prospects.
Frameworks — Create company playbooks: scripts, objection guides, pricing sheets, policies. Agents select these in Call Setup to inject context directly into the AI coach.
Sessions — View all call transcripts, AI summaries, and recordings across your entire team.
Settings — Configure branding (logo, company name), booking page settings, and calendar integrations (Google Calendar, Outlook).
License — Shows your current seat usage (admins + agents) against your plan limits.

🎙️ Audio Setup Guide
CloseSignal supports two audio modes. Choose the one that matches where your call is happening — you select it inside the Set Up New Call wizard.

Setup A — Computer Call
Zoom · Teams · Google Meet · any browser-based or desktop call
RECOMMENDED
How it works: Your mic captures your voice on one channel. The system audio from your Zoom/Teams tab captures the client's voice on a completely separate channel. Speaker labels are 100% accurate — no guessing, no manual switching needed.
Step-by-step:
- Open CloseSignal in Chrome or Edge on your computer.
- Join your Zoom / Teams / Google Meet call in a browser tab or the desktop app.
- Click 📞 Set Up New Call and choose Setup A — Computer Call on the Call Setup step.
- In the left-panel Audio Setup card, click Capture Client Audio.
- A screen-share dialog appears. Select the tab or window your call is running in.
- Tick "Share audio" (bottom-left of the dialog) — this is required.
- Click Share. The badge turns 🟢 Dual-Stream — Computer Call.
- Click Start Recording. Both agent and client voices are now on separate channels.

💡 Headphones vs Speakers
Headphones give the cleanest separation. Built-in laptop speakers work fine — echo cancellation handles most audio bleed. Either way, Dual-Stream works.

Setup B — Phone Call
Regular phone · Mobile Zoom / Teams · Any call on your phone
How it works: CloseSignal listens only to your computer microphone. Your client's voice is on your phone and never enters your computer's audio. The transcript switches speakers automatically using Voice ID — or you can manually toggle with A / C.
Step-by-step:
- Open CloseSignal on your computer. Start your call on your phone separately.
- Click 📞 Set Up New Call and choose Setup B — Phone Call on the Call Setup step.
- Select your mic in the Agent mic dropdown — built-in mic, USB headset, or AirPods all work.
- Do not click Capture Client Audio — it won't help in this mode.
- Click Start Recording. The badge shows 🟡 Single-Stream — Phone / Manual.
- The transcript speaker switches automatically if you have a Voice ID profile set up (see below). Without Voice ID, press C when your client speaks and A when you speak — or tap the speaker pill buttons in the floating panel.
🔬 Voice ID Auto-Switch (recommended for Setup B)
Go to 👤 My Profile → 🔬 Voice ID and record a 15–20 second voice sample. CloseSignal will auto-detect when you are speaking vs. your client — significantly reducing the need to manually press A / C. The transcript label switches correctly; the speaker pill in the panel also follows automatically.
⚠️ Limitation
Your client's voice is on your phone — CloseSignal cannot directly transcribe it. Both sides of the conversation are captured through your mic (you speaking and the client's voice audible through your phone speaker), so transcription quality is best when your client speaks clearly enough to be picked up.

🔑 Golden rule: If your call runs on your computer (Zoom/Teams/Meet in a browser tab or desktop app) — always use Setup A. You get exact speaker labels, the client's voice fully transcribed, and zero manual switching. Use Setup B only when your call is on your phone.
